Coastal Water Project EIR

The CWP proposes a $250 Million desalination facility to be co-located at the Moss Landing power plant. As required by the California Environment Quality Act (CEQA) an Environmental Impact Report is being conducted on the project. On January 30, 2009 the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) issued a Draft EIR for public review. The DEIR includes several alternatives to the Moss Landing desalination facility.
